Anticipated Openings – to begin August 16, 2010 in Alexander, Hardin, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Pulaski and Union counties.  Positions may include:  Teacher, Teacher Aide, Office Associate, Bus Driver, Sub Bus Driver, Cook and Program Assistant.  DCFS background/criminal check required.

 

   
Office Associate – Regular, full time (12 months) opening at the Rustic Campus Head Start Center in Ullin, IL.  Position will provide clerical support and assistance for the center.  Minimum qualifications are High School Diploma or GED, but prefer some college, computer skills, and previous secretarial experience.  Applicant must pass a computer skills test.  DCFS Background/Criminal Check required.  INTERNAL POSTING ONLY

 


Program Assistant – Partial year, full time (9 months) opening at the Hardin Co. Early Learning Center in Elizabethtown, IL.  Duties include assisting the Head Start Teachers with classroom maintenance, nurturing of children, care of children and any other issues that involve the classroom.  Must be 18 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or GED.  DCFS Background/Criminal Check required.  INTERNAL POSTING ONLY

 


Sub Bus Driver - Locations: Potentially needed at our Union County and Johnson County Early Learning Centers
Qualifications: CDL License and must be at least 21 years of age. Duties include being responsible for the safety of children ages 3-5 while transporting them to and from school.

 


Maintenance Coordinator I – Regular, full-time position located at the Administrative Office in Ullin, IL.  Duties include identifying and assessing maintenance needs for the agency, completes and prioritizes maintenance projects, reviews and prioritizes work orders, develops preventive maintenance pland and completing ongoing safety inspections.  Qualifications include: three (3) years custodial and comprehensive maintenance experience.  DCFS Background/Criminal Check required.

 


Maintenance Worker (Anticipated) – Regular, full-time position located at the Administrative Office in Ullin, IL.  Duties include working with Maintenance Coordinator in completing all necessary maintenance and custodial work for the agency.  Skills required are 1 year experience in maintenance position.  Experience with light carpentry and electrical helpful.  DCFS Background/Criminal Check required.

 


Communicable Disease Program Manager – Regular, full-time position located at the Pulaski County Public Health Clinic in Ullin, IL.  Duties include coordination of TB and all other Communicable Disease (chronic but excluding STD’s) reporting, investigation, and surveillance as well as working collaboratively with state and regional IDPH staff.  Coordinates program activities for the Genetics and Blood Lead programs.  Must be an RN licensed in Illinois, (prefer a BSN licensed in Illinois) or Public Health Nursing experience of at least two years.  INTERNAL POSTING ONLY
